Stephen Galvano, Founder Transformation Community Outreach and Senior Pastor, RCCM International

One of RCCM's newest and most exciting ministries is the RCCM Transformation Center. The RCCM Transformation Center is located in the heart of the city of Rochester in one of its most challenged neighborhoods. RCCM is making a difference in that community by practicing our slogan "Giving Hope, Building Dreams, Sharing Jesus".

Through our many programs, the primary goal of the RCCM Transformation Center is to be a beacon of light to the Jay Street community. The Transformation Center is also home to RCCM's newest church, RCCM Jay Street.

On a regular basis, the RCCM Transformation Center hosts the Day of Care. During the Day of Care the RCCM Transformation Center staff together with its community partners offer lunches and dinners, haircuts, medical and dental examinations, AIDS testing, and counseling all free of charge to the homeless and to those in need in the community. RCCM is proud to have formed alliances with community leaders such as The City of Rochester, Wellcare, Unity Health, Foodlink, AIDS Rochester, Suny Brockport, Wegmans, and Eastman Dental to make this landmark event possible. In addition to the Day of Care, RCCM host many annual events at the Transformation Center. Some of them include Hope-O-Ween, Celebrate Recovery, Thanksgiving at the Transformation Center and Christmas at the Transformation Center. These events are designed to meet the immediate and long term spiritual and social needs of the community. For more information about these events, please visit the RCCM Events page. Soon, The RCCM Transformation Center will soon launch a new daily after school program, called Learning Living Leading. The goal of the Learning, Living, Leading program is to provide a creative, fun and safe learning environment where students can reach their potential through academic assistance, and enrichment classes such as the arts and sports. We believe that Learning, Living, Leading will help youth realize and achieve their individual potential as well as increase their ability to empower others within their community. A comprehensive program evaluation which takes into consideration various data sources such as student grades and test scores, surveys, observations and interviews. In addition to many outreaches and special services, RCCM Jay Street hosts weekly services are each Tuesday evening at 7pm. At RCCM Jay Street, you will experience the power of God through great music, and the inspirational teachings of Pastor John Robinson.

Overall Goals for the Transformation Center.

Our overall goals for the Transformation Center is to create a Faith-Based community development program through a center designed for community residents who are interested in improving the quality of their life and family.
We, the RCCM Transformation Center staff, will strive to rebuild self-confidence and respect in members of the community. We will also assist these community members in building and restoring honest, healthy, and vital relationships with other members of the community, family members, and God.
The Transformation Center attempts to restore individuals to growth and maturity through love, warmth, concern, and affection implementing responsible behavior and to return the individual to functional involvement in society and self-sufficiency.

The mission of the Transformation Center is as follows:
